 Job Description 

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.   

• Team Member must be willing and able to be exposed on a routine basis to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.  
• Team Member must be willing and able to be exposed to airborne particles, and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection.

INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION:

Openings for this position will be posted for three (3) working days utilizing the Tyson PersTime job-bidding program.

• Must have been in their current position  90 days to demote or transfer to another shift or line.
• Must have been in their current position 90 days to promote.
• No more than four (4) attendance points at the time of job posting, in the last six (6) months.
• No written warning at the time of job posting within the last six (6) months.
• No suspensions at the time of job posting within the last six (6) months

Note: Location will assign the position if there are not successful bidders.
