Prepare complex PCB Design layouts or revisions per verbal or written instructions, electrical inputs, Schematics hardware, or engineering lab models, received from both mechanical and electrical engineering and/or other technical support personnel to create highly complex circuit card assemblies incorporating best practice for fabrication, assembly and testability.

Responsibilities:

A successful track record of high-quality PCBs

A broad understanding of electronic circuit layout and electronic packaging principles.

• Design/Capture, perform layout and routing of digital and analog high-density, multi-

layer, printed wiring boards (PWB’s).

• Initiate new designs using inputs from EE, ME, and SW.

PCB design skills including RF, mixed signal, and mixed material technologies.

• Board PCB fabrication process knowledge.

• Working knowledge of IPC standards.

Troubleshoot designs using analytical analysis.

• Ability to operate test equipment as needed to test, analyze, and improve PCB design

performance and lab manufacturability.

Select appropriate simulation software for design as needed.

Solid knowledge of RF grounding techniques as applied to PCBs.

• Schematic capture, BGA experience

Qualifications


Requirements:

1. Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent desired.

2. Experience with PCB design software and tools.

3. PCB design skills including RF and mixed signal/material/technology.

4. PCB fabrication process knowledge.

5. Working knowledge of IPC standards.

6. Experience with board verification tools

7. Experience with electrical lab equipment.

8. 5+ years of experience.

9. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
