Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Job DetailsJob Location: Sanford, FL 32772Job Category: ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of diesel-powered construction and heavy equipment. Work in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment. Change fluids and filters as well as lubricate and clean parts. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to heavy equipment. Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and all-around troubleshooting if necessary. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards. Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction.   Qualifications 3-5 recent years’ experience working as a diesel mechanic. Active Driver license. Must have a safety-first attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required. Must have transportation to and from work. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 75 pounds.
