Requirements

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment such as ducting, hoods, etc
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and other restaurant and retail systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective, long-term solutions
• Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics on complex systems
• Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and building automation system diagrams to accurately service equipment
• Perform mechanical repairs on refrigeration systems, pumps, and other mechanical components
• Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed.
• Utilize welding skills for repairs requiring metal fabrication or joining components.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS?

AGE/AVAILABILITY

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC service preferred
