Job Summary:

The Environmental Services (EVS) Attendant maintains the cleanliness of the internal areas of the facility including restrooms, common areas and offices.  The EVS Attendant ensures that the casino is appealing and welcoming to the casino guests and internal customers.

Major Responsibilities/Activities: 

  • Interacts effectively with Casino Hotel guests and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all time.
  • Cleans property floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Moves or pushes furniture in order to sweep or mop underneath.
  • Cleans various venues and outlets throughout the property. 
  • Gathers and empties wastebaskets; deep cleans wastebaskets as needed.
  • Services, cleans, restocks and supplies property restrooms.
  • Dusts slot machines, furniture, walls, and equipment.
  • Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using the required cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Sweeps stairwells and cleans elevators.
  • Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are used per the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to the supervisor.
  • Advises management of repairs, or supply shortages in assigned areas and is accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of assigned area.
  • Complies with established safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and adheres to all MSDS safety procedures. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience helpful.
  • Good interpersonal, guest service and communication skills.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-gaming license.

  • Various cleaning chemicals.
  • Buffer, Vacuum Cleaner, broom, mop.
