About the Opportunity
The Verify Operator inspects and verifies the circles, lines and defects marked by the Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) Machine on inner layers of printed circuit boards using a microscope.Â
Please Note: The available work schedule consists of second-shift hours (4:00pm - 12:30am); however, training will take place during the first shift (7:30am - 4:00pm).
What You'll Do:
- Inspects layers after processing through the AOI machine for layer count, handling damage, inspection parameters, etc.
- Inspects and verifies inner layers of printed circuit boards using a microscope; uses a 100X microscope to measure size of lines and circles marked on inner layers and verifies the measurements with the traveler
- Visually verifies layers from the scanner for proper dot/detect application and visual non-conformances
- Inspects layers from verification machine to detect location, confirmation and definitions, inner layer reworks, and any defectsÂ
- Performs first article inspection
- Creates and completes NCRs
- Assists in physically moving jobs throughout the Inner Layer Prep department
- Completes daily production log
- Performs other duties as neededÂ
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read and interpret documents including standard operating procedures, instructions and safety rules in English; ability to communicate effectively in English and complete required reports

- Detail-oriented and self-motivatedÂ
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- 1 - 2 Years of related experience in the PCB industry (Preferred)Â
Please note that in addition to prolonged sitting, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds, as well as repetitive hand motion and outward reaching.Â
Schedule:
- 2nd shift (4:00pm to 12:30am)Â
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime and Weekends as needed
