About the Opportunity
The Testing Operator performs electrical testing on all printed circuit boards using the test machine and program to ensure that all products comply in accordance with customer drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Operates test machine
- Runs the test program and performs testing for opens, shorts and resistance
- Identifies the failure parts with arrows and perform troubleshooting; Participates in failure analysis with process engineer when needed
- Completes the electrical test certification form after completing the test process. Certification will be done and record of any non-conformance using NCR (Non-Conforming Report) form
- Signs off the traveler, date and enter quantity, logs out in ProCIM and moves finished parts to the next scheduled process
- Ensure a clean and organized work area and properly maintain machines; reports any malfunctions to team leader
- Performs other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read and understand documents such as Travelers, standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 3 years of electrical test technician experience (Preferred)
Please note that in addition to prolonged standing, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 15 pounds; as well as, repetitive hand and finger motion.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 1st Shift (7:30am to 4pm)
- Overtime and Weekends as required
