Job Summary:

We are looking for an INSPECTOR who will perform visual and dimensional inspection of in-process forgings to ensure production requirements and specification are met.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
  • Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
  • Use appropriate tools to examine the dimensions of forged parts and ensure that they are meet requirements.
  • Keep accurate count and record of part/work pieces to ensure traceability.
  • Inspect and approve the first piece of a job before running entire production.
  • Work collaboratively with other employees/departments across APP.
  • Report faulty equipment or facility defect to supervisor.
  • Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Must be able to read blueprints 
  • Must be able to drive forklift 
  • Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
  • English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.73 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
