About the Opportunity:
The Inner Layer Prep Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the Inner Layer Prep department and performs a variety of tasks to complete the inspection of inner and outer layer PCB boards including using a post-etch punch machine, inspecting circuits through a microscope, and using software programs to operate inspection machines.
What You'll Do:
- Leads Inner Layer Prep department to meet Company targets; responsibilities include recruiting, training and development of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; making salary recommendations; addressing complaints and resolving issues
- Collaborates with all department leads to make decisions regarding production activity and goals
- Reviews SOPs, work instructions and the Traveler to ensure compliance with specifications; setup all proper materials and processes; verifies that prior process was properly completed and that quantities match
- Evaluates and reports on Company’s production performance; works with all departments to develop and implement production improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
- Verifies layers for proper dot/detect application and visual non-conformances
- Verifies inspected layers to detect location, confirmation and definitions, inner layer reworks, and any defects
- Operates VR machine to inspect defects detected through AOI
- Conducts AOI system change overs
- Performs as other duties as needed

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma Required
- 1-2 Years of PCB manufacturing or eneral manufacturing experience required
- Knowledgeable or experienced with operating Automatic Optical Inspection Machines
- Leadership experience within a manufacturing or high-volume production environment
- Experience leading across multiple functions and shifts
Schedule:
- Standard 1st Shift (7:30am to 4:00pm)
- Requires flexibility to work across multiple shifts and weekends
