Through personalized, results-driven training sessions and engaging Water Aerobics classes, you will play a meaningful role in supporting participants on their wellness journey while fostering a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will contribute to the energy, growth, and success of a dynamic and expanding wellness program. In addition, you will foster genuine connections, deliver exceptional hospitality, and help cultivate a safe, positive, and motivating environment where every interaction is purposeful and impactful. As a Health & Wellness Trainer, you will champion healthy lifestyles and reflect our deep commitment to community well-being, encouraging members to feel confident, supported, and motivated every step of the way. Purpose and Impact: Inspire Healthy Lifestyles:  Motivate participants to achieve wellness goals and model positive habits. Ensure Program Excellence:  Deliver engaging, safe, and high-quality classes aligned with organizational standards. Maintain Safety and Standards: Uphold safety regulations and ensure proper care of equipment and facilities. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Age: 18+ years old. Education & Experience: 2-to-4-year college degree in Physical Fitness, Kinesiology, or related field required. May provide Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification in place of degree requirement. 2 years' experience in fitness industry preferred. Experience teaching line dancing classes and leading participants of varying skill levels desired. Related background in health and/or fitness.  Certifications: First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
