New Life has been transforming homes on the Central Coast since 1978. We're a family-owned company serving homeowners from Santa Ynez to Morro Bay, and our Bath & Kitchen team is growing. We're looking for a skilled installer who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants steady, year-round work with a crew that operates on six values: Communication, Collaboration, Respect, Trust, Fun, and Love.

What You'll Do

• Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic, and other tile products on floors, walls, backsplashes, showers, and other surfaces.
• Install various flooring materials including luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, engineered hardwood, hardwood, and other flooring systems.
• Install kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and custom cabinetry according to plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision.
• Prepare surfaces by leveling floors, repairing subfloors, installing underlayment, waterproofing, and applying appropriate setting materials.
• Install trim, baseboards, moldings, transitions, and finishing details.
• Read and interpret drawings and installation specifications.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized installation equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Identify and resolve installation challenges while maintaining quality standards.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
• Follow company policies and manufacturer installation guidelines.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of tile, flooring, and/or cabinet installation experience preferred
• Confidence with tile saws, flooring tools, laser levels, and nail guns
• Frequently stand, kneel, bend, squat, and climb throughout the workday
• Lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment
• Precision measuring and the ability to read drawings and specs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work on your feet — kneeling, bending, climbing — throughout the day
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Bonus points for: shower waterproofing systems, custom tile work, finish carpentry, or minor drywall/paint/trim skills.
