Local Santa Barbara chef and Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner Ramon Velazquez is bringing his elevated Mexican cuisine to Montecito Country Mart. Their new restaurant, Alma, will feature their award-winning ceviche, local organic farmers market produce, and a selection of local and international wines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, both for food and drinks.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any needs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and drinks.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid food handler's permit and bartending license.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
