Immediate Supervisor: Floor Manager
Classification: Part-time Non-Exempt, Hourly
Salary: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experienceÂ
Primary Responsibilities:Â
 The Food Server is a key member of the dining and event team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members. This position requires a warm, professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to high service standards. Servers are expected to anticipate needs, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure every member feels welcome, comfortable, and valued. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.Â

Key Responsibilities:Â
General Expectations:Â
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work at assigned station. Â
- Maintain positive personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout the shift. Â
- Demonstrate a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times. Â
- Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines. Â
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries to the Chef or Manager-on-Duty. Â
- Collect and organize reservations and special requests.Â
- Follow all club policies, procedures, and safety standards.Â
- Be flexible and willing to assist in other areas as needed.Â
- Uphold the club’s values of hospitality, respect, and excellence.Â
- Support other roles as needed to ensure a seamless member experience.Â
Pre-Service Duties:Â
- Prepare and stock condiments, dressings, and beverage stations.Â
- Fold napkins and set up bread baskets with supplies.Â
- Review daily prospectus sheets for special events, large parties, and room setups.Â
- Prepare beverages, silverware, coffee pots, water pitchers, and service ware.Â
- Polish silverware and ensure tables are fully set.Â
- Prepare butter dishes, creamers, and cut lemons.Â
- Stock iced tea and water stations, fill ice bins, and prepare glasses.Â
- Organize dessert and soup stations with utensils and service ware.Â
- Fill oil/vinegar dispensers, salt and pepper mills, and sugar caddies.Â
- Assist with special tasks as assigned by supervisor.Â
Service Duties:Â
- Greet members promptly and warmly.Â
- Present menus and offer recommendations when appropriate.Â
- Take and serve orders accurately.Â
- Monitor ticket times and coordinate with kitchen stations to ensure timely delivery of hot and cold items.Â
- Garnish and tray finished entrees for prompt delivery.Â
- Deliver food to correct tables to ensure prompt service.Â
- Carry take-out and delivery items to designated areas as needed.Â
- Monitor kitchen and service areas for cleanliness and reset as needed.Â
- Address member concerns professionally and positively.Â
- Correctly bill accounts and obtain member signatures as required.Â
- Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of private and club-hosted events.Â
- Provide service in both plated and buffet-style formats, ensuring timely and professional delivery of food and beverages.Â
- Work closely with the Events team to understand event timelines, guest expectations, and special requests.Â
- Ensure all event areas are clean, organized, and set to Club standards before, during, and after events.Â
Post-Service Duties:Â
- Wrap and store prepared butters, creamers, and lemon containers. Â
- Clean and sanitize service counters, stations, and trays. Â
- Take out trash and dirty linen from service stations. Â
- Stock linen cupboards and reset rooms according to the next day’s prospectus. Â
- Collect and secure silverware, glassware, and carafe.Â
- Check all areas for cleanliness .Â
- Reset dining rooms and event spaces for next service.Â
- Cash out and reconcile shift transactions.Â
- Complete assigned side work in both front and back of house.Â
Teamwork & Collaboration:Â
- Work closely with all servers, runners, bussers, bartenders, and cooks to ensure a smooth and enjoyable member experience.Â
- Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors.Â
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support dining and events.Â
Physical Requirements:Â
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for 8 hours
