Job Description:

HITT Contracting is looking for an experienced Superintendent specializing in Corporate Interiors to join our Santa Clara team. This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in fast-paced interior construction environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality spaces for demanding corporate clients.

The Superintendent will lead corporate interior projects ranging from approximately $4 million to $30 million, taking ownership of field operations from preconstruction and mobilization through punch list and closeout. You will be responsible for safety, quality, schedule, subcontractor coordination, and day-to-day site execution while serving as a key representative of HITT with our clients and project partners.

We are looking for someone who understands the unique demands of corporate interior work, including accelerated schedules, occupied environments, complex MEP coordination, high-end finishes, and the attention to detail required for successful tenant improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for $4M–$30M corporate interior and tenant improvement projects

• Own the project schedule and drive subcontractors to meet critical milestones and completion dates

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics

• Maintain a safe, organized, professional jobsite in accordance with HITT standards and policies

• Partner closely with the Project Manager and project team to proactively identify and resolve field issues

• Manage short-term planning, sequencing, manpower, and site logistics to maintain project momentum

• Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate clear expectations for safety, schedule, quality, and performance

• Coordinate architectural, MEP, technology, and specialty systems to minimize conflicts and rework

• Maintain exceptional quality standards, with particular attention to high-end finishes and client-facing spaces

• Manage work in occupied environments while minimizing disruption to ongoing client operations

• Conduct regular quality control inspections and drive completion of punch list items

• Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and project records

• Build strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders

• Support successful project turnover, commissioning, closeout, and client occupancy

• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field team members while reinforcing accountability and HITT's culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction field experience with a strong focus on Corporate Interiors, Tenant Improvements, or Commercial Interiors

• Demonstrated experience successfully leading interior construction projects in the $4M–$30M range

• Experience leading projects as a Superintendent or progressively responsible Assistant Superintendent

• Strong understanding of interior construction sequencing, MEP coordination, high-end finishes, and accelerated project schedules

• Experience delivering projects in occupied buildings and active corporate environments preferred

• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain accountability for safety, quality, and schedule

• Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation

• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions before they impact the project

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and demanding schedules

• Proficiency with construction technology and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent field experience
