About the Role:
Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings and facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan plumbing layouts
- Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently
- Install and service commercial-grade pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Ensure all work meets local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a commercial plumber or journeyman plumber
- Valid California Plumbing License or Journeyman certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
