Company Description

IT Management Corporation (ITMC) is a Santa Clara-based technology solutions provider serving education, local government, and commercial organizations. Our work includes enterprise networking, cybersecurity, intelligent physical security, critical infrastructure, cellular coverage solutions, and related technology deployments.

101VOICE is ITMC's telecommunications and cloud communications business. It serves customers directly and works with agents and channel partners who may require field programs, sales materials, demonstrations, and event support.

Job Description

The Field Marketing Specialist is the local execution arm of ITMC and 101VOICE marketing. You will turn plans created with the Chief Marketing Officer and remote marketing team into organized, professional, in-person programs that support lead generation, partner activation, sales follow-up, and customer visibility.

You will spend part of your time at ITMC headquarters planning and coordinating, and part in the field executing events, customer demonstrations, partner activities, shipments, and content capture. Although this is not a quota-carrying sales role, every activity should contribute to measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Own

Field Events & Association Programs

  • Maintain a rolling field-event calendar and proactively identify new event, association, and partner opportunities.
  • Build and present event recommendations (audience, cost, staffing, lead plan, expected value), then manage execution end-to-end — vendor coordination, shipping, setup, onsite support, and teardown.
  • Represent ITMC and 101VOICE professionally at events when sales leadership isn't present.

Lead Generation & HubSpot

  • Engage attendees and prospects, capture complete contact and interest information, and recognize when a conversation should become a sales follow-up.
  • Keep HubSpot records, campaigns, and lead routing accurate and current, and coordinate pre- and post-event outreach with sales.
  • Track results — attendance, leads, meetings, cost, influenced opportunities — to show event impact.

Equipment, Materials & Vendor Support

  • Maintain check-in/check-out tracking and readiness for demo equipment, booth materials, and promotional inventory.
  • Coordinate field vendors (printers, venues, freight, promotional products, signage) and manage ordering, packing, and shipment of collateral and giveaways.
  • Keep approved digital and print assets organized so sales, partners, and marketing can find current materials.

Field Photography & Customer Stories

  • Capture usable, brand-appropriate photos and short videos at events, customer sites, and demos.
  • Coordinate customer interviews and testimonials, and deliver organized files promptly to the marketing team.

Marketing Coordination

  • Serve as the day-to-day link between ITMC, sales, partners, and the remote marketing team, translating field needs into clear requests and deadlines.
  • Help improve event, lead, and asset-tracking processes over time.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in B2B field marketing, event marketing, trade shows, partner or channel marketing, marketing programs, or a closely related role. Candidates with approximately 2-4 years of directly relevant experience are especially well aligned.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the full event lifecycle, including logistics, vendors, shipping, onsite execution, lead capture, and post-event follow-up.
  • A proactive, self-directed work style with evidence of identifying opportunities, proposing a plan, and driving work to completion with limited supervision.
  • Ability to speak confidently with prospects, customers, and partners and to connect event activity to lead generation and sales support.
  • Experience using a CRM for lead capture, campaign attribution, notes, routing, and activity tracking. HubSpot experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and written communication.
  • Ability to capture consistently usable event photos and short videos using a modern smartphone or comparable equipment. Work samples or a practical exercise may be requested during the interview process.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate effectively across local and remote teams.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements for local event, customer, and delivery activity.

Preferred Experience

  • Technology, telecommunications, UCaaS, networking, cybersecurity, physical security, SaaS, VAR, or other B2B technical-market experience.
  • Education, local government, public-sector, healthcare, association, or channel-partner events.
  • Partner or agent marketing, co-marketing, reseller support, sponsorships, or regional demand-generation programs.
  • Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar collaboration and light content tools.
  • Basic budget tracking, vendor negotiation, promotional inventory, print production, or demo-equipment control.
  • A college degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is welcome but not required; equivalent practical experience is valued.

Additional Information

Compensation and Employment Classification

Pay range: $35.00-$45.00/hour at 40 hours/week, based on experience, demonstrated capabilities, and business needs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, eligible for a performance-based quarterly bonus under the applicable company plan. Business travel and approved expenses are reimbursed per company policy.

What Success Looks Like

  • Events are planned early and executed on time, professionally, with no last-minute surprises.
  • HubSpot records are accurate, attributed, and useful to sales.
  • Equipment, inventory, and materials are ready when needed and accounted for afterward.
  • Partners and internal teams get clear communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Photos, videos, and recaps are organized and delivered promptly.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly about what's known and unknown, and keeps the work moving without needing to be chased.
