About the Role:
Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans
- Ensure all work meets local codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with contractors, inspectors, and clients on job site requirements
- Perform rough-in and finish plumbing on new construction and remodel projects
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Valid California Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations in Santa Clara, CA
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanor
