Purpose:  Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance.  Assist with the companies Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste programs in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.  Support maintenance programs.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, inspections, calibrations, and activities on production and support equipment including, but not limited to: CNC machinery, manual machinery, compressors, fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, forklifts, vehicles, grinders, custodial equipment, and related activities.
  • Maintain maintenance systems, schedules, tasks, and records.
  • Execute Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste programs in compliance with federal, state and local laws or regulations.
  • Execute of environmental, health and safety programs, waste reduction programs/efforts, recycling programs/activities, LOTO – Lock-Out / Tag-Out program
  • Follow documentation including written procedures, work instructions, forms, logs, visual guides, reports, records, metrics, KPI – Key Process Indicators, etc. to: maximize equipment utilization; equipment accuracy and calibration; manufacturing productivity; quality of products; efficiency and reduce downtime and costs.
  • Support maintenance equipment, tooling, supplies, safety equipment, and spare parts.
  • Resolve maintenance-related issues, departmental issues, problems, and bottlenecks to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Provide input and solutions to technical and other maintenance-related issues/problems, activities, and projects.
  • Support, participate and provide input for maintenance-related activities, projects, ideas, corrective and preventive actions, inspections, reports, records, safety program, and security issues.
  • Ensure personnel safety, use of PPE – personal protective equipment, LOTO – Lock-Out / Tag-Out program, a safe work environment, safe practices, adherence to applicable laws, regulations and requirements, and measures required to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Reports to management on conditions which may contribute to industrial accidents, personnel problems, prevention of discriminatory acts or comments, or other problems affecting personnel and operations, in a timely manner.


Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification of job-specific training preferred
