About the Job:

The Electronics Test and Validation team owns the module-level validation testing for our clients. It is our responsibility to make sure ECU electronics are designed and manufactured correctly. With this goal in mind, we develop scalable tools, processes, hardware, and software solutions deployed for characterization, validation, and manufacturing.

In this role, you鈥檒l be an individual contributor with a crucial role owning the design verification and characterization of vehicle electronics, with a particular focus on Zonal and Battery聽 ECUs. You鈥檒l work cross functionally to ensure that our electronics are designed to meet module-level requirements.

Your Role:

  • Develop detailed design verification and characterization test plans for all phases of ECU聽programs with input from reliability, design, and firmware teams
  • Lead the execution of characterization testing plans according to project milestones
  • Own test coverage reports and analysis
  • Perform bench-level characterization at IC and PCBA levels
  • Provide early feedback to design engineers regarding design decisions and testability
  • Develop and present Design for Testability (DFT) reports for ECU designs
  • Own characterization schedules to communicate status with upper management and cross-functional teams
  • Write basic automation scripts and instrumentation drivers to speed up characterization testing聽using Python
  • Work with software engineers to flash, test, and troubleshoot firmware
  • Lead the cross-functional effort to root cause non-compliance test results during testing by leveraging data analysis

Your Skills and Experience:

  • BS/MS or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in electronics characterization and validation testing.
  • Experience using lab instrumentation like oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, digital multimeters, etc
  • Very good understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and communication buses
  • Nice to have experience in scripting and data analysis using Python, familiar with low-level firmware and C programming and experience in Databricks or similar environment.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
