About the Job You're Considering

As a Sales Representative- (BDE) | Telecommunications & Satellite Communications, you will be a highly motivated, results-oriented sales professional responsible for identifying, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities across the Telecommunications, Satellite Communications, Broadband, Wireless, Digital Infrastructure, and Connectivity sectors. You will play a critical role in expanding Capgemini's market presence by developing strategic client relationships, understanding complex industry challenges, and positioning innovative solutions that help organizations accelerate business and technology transformation.

As a Sales Representative- (BDE) focused on the Telecommunications and Satellite Communications sector, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while building trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will collaborate across Capgemini's global organization to position innovative solutions that help clients modernize networks, transform operations, accelerate AI adoption, and deliver next-generation connectivity services.

Success in this role is measured by your ability to generate net-new business, build a qualified pipeline, establish executive relationships, and consistently achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of enterprise sales success, strong consultative selling skills, and deep knowledge of telecommunications, satellite communications, digital infrastructure, network transformation, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and emerging connectivity technologies.

Your Role

  • Develop new business opportunities within the Telecommunications and Satellite Communications industry, driving the full sales lifecycle while leveraging Capgemini subject matter experts, industry specialists, and executives as needed.
  • Originate, qualify, shape, and close net-new opportunities across strategic Telecommunications, Broadband, Wireless, Satellite, and Digital Infrastructure accounts.
  • Build and cultivate executive relationships with C-level business and technology leaders across targeted organizations.
  • Identify opportunities related to network transformation, OSS/BSS modernization, cloudification, intelligent connectivity, AI-enabled operations, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, customer experience transformation, engineering services, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Develop AI-led transformation opportunities focused on automation, network optimization, operational efficiency, customer experience enhancement, revenue growth, and business modernization.
  • Partner closely with Capgemini industry, consulting, technology, engineering, cybersecurity, and managed services teams to develop differentiated pursuits, compelling value propositions, and winning proposals.
  • Work closely with teams across Technology Services, Cloud, Data & AI, Intelligent Industry, Engineering, Applications, Operations, Consulting, and Managed Services to develop and convert a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Increase opportunities across all Capgemini service lines while maintaining accountability for qualification, pursuit strategy, and closure of new business within assigned accounts.
  • Handle client expectations throughout the sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract negotiations and deal closure.
  • Maintain and convert a qualified pipeline into profitable revenue growth while consistently achieving annual bookings and sales targets.
  • Provide strategic direction to clients supporting growth, modernization, operational efficiency, network transformation, and technology innovation objectives.
  • Develop and lead account plans and forecasts while providing regular pipeline, opportunity, and revenue status updates.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends, telecom and satellite innovation, competitive activity, regulatory developments, AI advancements, network technologies, and market dynamics impacting the communications sector.
  • Represent Capgemini at Telecommunications and Satellite industry conferences, executive forums, analyst briefings, innovation events, and strategic partner ecosystems.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales and business development experience selling technology, consulting, digital transformation, engineering, managed services, or related solutions.
  • Experience serving Telecommunications, Satellite Communications, Broadband, Wireless, Connectivity, Digital Infrastructure, or Technology Services clients.
  • Proven success selling large-scale transformation programs involving Cloud, Network Transformation, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, Applications, Engineering, Digital Operations, or Managed Services.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and satellite communications ecosystems, including wireless networks, broadband, OSS/BSS, digital infrastructure, connectivity platforms, and network operations.
  • Experience developing and selling AI, automation, analytics, network modernization, and business transformation initiatives, including 5G, Open RAN, Network Cloudification, OSS/BSS modernization, satellite connectivity, and digital infrastructure transformation.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets and closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Proven hunter mentality with the ability to generate net-new business through prospecting, executive networking, relationship development, and strategic account penetration.
  • Experience building and maintaining executive relationships across business, technology, engineering, and operations organizations.
  • Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive influencing skills.
  • Ability to align client business challenges with transformational solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of emerging telecommunications technologies, AI-driven innovation, and digital transformation trends.
  • Existing relationships within telecom operators, satellite providers, wireless carriers, broadband providers, digital infrastructure companies, hyperscalers, or strategic ecosystem partners preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and travel as required to support client engagements and business development activities.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $98,497- $281,842

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
