We are seeking a skilled Hardware Application Engineer to provide complete SoC product and platform support across the full hardware lifecycle. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and OEM customers to enable robust, high-performance designs from reference schematics to validation, bring-up, design guideline, debugging and production release.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, maintain, and release product collateral including Product Design Guides, Reference Design Kits, product specifications, schematics, and PCB files.

  • Lead bring-up, validation, and characterization; drive debug, and platform optimization.

  • Own the release and support of tools and diagnostics required for board validation, troubleshooting, and customer enablement.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for OEM customers; provide expert support for hardware issues, escalations, and complex design challenges.

  • Support product design reviews—offering recommendations, DFM/DFT improvements, and risk mitigation strategies to OEM partners.

  • Author, release, and maintain hardware validation procedures and bring-up documentation.

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action for hardware and system failures in OEM designs.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, program, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful product integration.

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years’ experience in hardware/product development, reference design, or applications engineering.

  • Hands-on hardware bring-up, debug, and validation proficiency.

  • Experience supporting OEM/ODM customers and releasing complete hardware collateral.

  • Strong communication/documentation skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • 3+ experiences on Notebook design, SoC, LPDDR5x

  • Experience with ARM, PMIC, regulators

  • Hardware design and knowledge of PCIe, I2C, DP/eDP/HDMI, USB-C,WiFi, Audio.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 189,750 USD for Level 2, and 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
