Lab Business Systems Product Manager (EPIC Center)

Overview
The EPIC Center depends on reliable, integrated, and data-driven digital capabilities to support high-velocity R&D and world-class lab operations. We are seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy, governance, and roadmap for the information systems that power lab operations. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring systems evolve to meet operational needs, improve data quality and accessibility, and deliver measurable business value.

Product Strategy & Business Outcomes

  • Own the vision, strategic objectives, and operational outcomes for lab operations information systems.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate a multi-quarter roadmap aligned with EPIC operational priorities.

Product Discovery, Requirements & Solution Design

  • Lead structured requirements gathering across lab operations, engineering, R&D, logistics, facilities, and safety.
  • Translate operational needs into clear functional requirements and partner with technical teams on solution design.
  • Ensure systems support scalable workflows, high-quality data, end-to-end visibility, and compliance.

Data Product Ownership & Governance

  • Ensure systems support sound data structures, relationships, and governance.
  • Identify data gaps and partner cross-functionally to improve data accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
  • Promote the use of data for decision-making and operational improvement.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment

  • Represent the business in system development discussions and decision-making forums.
  • Drive alignment and standardization across business units while supporting necessary flexibility.
  • Ensure effective integration of systems with workflows and data across the lab ecosystem.

Roadmap Delivery, Adoption & Change Management

  • Prioritize enhancements based on business impact and strategic alignment.
  • Lead initiatives from concept through deployment, ensuring user adoption and readiness.
  • Track and communicate the value delivered through new capabilities and improvements.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Drive enhancements that improve operational efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
  • Ensure documentation, training, and communication support ongoing system use.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business systems supporting lab operations, R&D operations, or operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, data flows, and system lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience defining requirements, managing roadmaps, and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience with lab execution platforms, operational data environments, or lab-related digital systems is a plus.
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
