Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for projects located in or around Valencia, CA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Program, set up, and operate multi-turn CNC lathe machines
Select and install correct machining parameters and control settings
Regulate variable factors during the manufacturing process
Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical specifications
Establish tooling requirements, setup procedures, and operational sequences
Perform first-article and in-process inspections
Utilize precision measurement equipment and OGP inspection programs for valves
Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues to maintain quality and efficiency
Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards

Requirements:

Proven ability to program, set up, and operate multi-turn CNC lathe machines
Proficiency with precision measurement equipment
Experience using OGP inspection programs
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and planning sheets
Working knowledge of basic algebra and geometry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
