Job DetailsJob Location: B B Manufacturing - Valencia, CA 91355Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $26.00 - $36.26 HourlyJob Shift: DayJOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing a variety of medium to complex mechanical tasks, including: assembling using hand tools, riveting, hydraulics, installation of fasteners, fittings, and bench assembly. Must be able to demonstrate competency in all of the assembly functions as well as having a thorough understanding of specifications, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills. A level assemblers must have a high level of mechanical aptitude and be able to apply that knowledge to higher-level assemblies. This position includes work affecting conformity to product requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESĀ  Ā  The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Ā  Uses touch screen work center load to determine next job and logs in to selected work order. Review current workload for same part numbers that have expedite status and include these with current job.Ā  Understands current time standards and works to improve them. Makes productive use of available time. Work area is organized, clean and meets the departmental FOD requirements. Enters facility maintenance requests. Read & understand job step information, perform WIP moves, and create NCMRs. Read & understands work instructions/drawings/sketches. Knows how to use the following tools: O.D.micrometers, depth micrometers, pins, travelĀ indicators, calipers, height gage, gage blocks, pressure and oven temperature control gages. Checks expiration dates for the following: gages, sealants, primers, etc. Uses platoon-style inspection, reads, and understands monthly quality data, knows the department monthly quality rating. Performs the following: helicoil installation per BPS4318, part marking per BPS4106, hydraulic testing, bushing/pin instal-lation, bearing installation per BPS4316, potting per BAC5000, assist with BPS 4108 method AB cleaning, build wire har-nesses, solder per J-STD-001H, back potting per BAC 5500, route & crimp wire harnesses per BPS4315, install Lee devic-es, keensert installation, dielectric testing, troubleshooting dielectric analysis sleeve installation, rivet/bucking installation, meets time standards and participates in CI. Performs the following: stock pulls, picks, release fast track work orders, Create Splits, print inventory and serial number labels, packaging, stocking, cycle counts, and in-house material transportation. Safely uses forklift (as needed), pallet jack, handheld scanners and pick cart. Understands that a problem or undesired result exists and develops a solution (individually or as a group).Ā  Ā Develops a solution and implements, if necessary, seeks approval from PE/Group Lead.
