POSITION DESCRIPTION:Ā Oversees the entire beverage manufacturing process, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. This role involves managing staff,Ā maintainingĀ quality control, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. They also manage budgets,Ā optimizeĀ resources, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.Ā

LOCATION: The position is based on-site at DrinkPAK's facility in Santa Clarita, California.

Ā 

RESPONSIBILITIESĀ 

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the packaging operations including planning, scheduling, staffing, and performance.Ā 

  • Ensure packaging lines run efficiently, safely, and within budget while meeting quality standards.Ā 

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for packaging activities.Ā 

  • MonitorĀ and develop action plans forĀ key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, downtime, andĀ yield.Ā 

  • Collaborate with production, quality,Ā logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teamsĀ to streamline operations.Ā 

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Ā 

  • Develops and leads a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, investing in employee growth, and driving performance through structured coaching and development plans.Ā 

  • Owns team capability and succession planning by partnering with cross-functional leaders to align talent development, training strategy, and long-term workforce needs with businessĀ objectives.Ā 

  • Train, coach, and evaluate packaging team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, andĀ yield improvingĀ initiatives.Ā 

  • Participate in new product launches, ensuringĀ successful new product launches.Ā 

  • Manage staffing, attendance, and other disciplinary processes as it relates to the packaging operationĀ 

  • Drive world class sanitation and equipment cleaning practices for packaging areas.Ā Ā

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet product specifications and compliance standards.Ā 

  • Collaborate with the Quality team to address any quality deviations or concerns.Ā 

  • Lead root cause analysis toĀ identifyĀ andĀ eliminateĀ issues within the batching operationĀ

QUALIFICATIONSĀ 

  • At leastĀ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment.Ā Ā 

  • At least 2 years in a leadership role.Ā 

  • Strong knowledge of packaging machinery, automation, and production flow.Ā 

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.Ā 

  • ProficientĀ in usingĀ manufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ā 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ā 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Ā
