Position Summary
 The Quality Intern will support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining compliance with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100 and customer-specific requirements. This role provides hands-on experience with inspection processes, documentation control, and continuous improvement within a precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined aerospace components
- Support First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102
- Review and organize quality documentation including inspection reports and certifications
- Maintain calibration records for inspection tools
- Assist with internal audits and audit preparation
- Support NCR and CAPA documentation
- Collect and analyze quality data
- Assist with root cause analysis and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies
- Maintain 5S standards in inspection areas
Experience and EducationÂ
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes preferred
- Familiarity with blueprints is a plus
- Knowledge of GD&T preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
