Job responsibilities include the following:

- Grow your salon at rates we agree on together.

- Achieve payroll and other expense targets.

- Have happy, loyal stylists who stay with the company for a long time.

Other parts of your job including recruiting and retaining talented, caring for stylists with a positive attitude; checking your personal and salon performance daily, weekly, and monthly.  Make sure you understand your performance and our goals for you. Work with your manager to improve and earn higher pay as your performance improves.

You will measure your success based on a number of key performance measures provided in your detailed position description you will receive upon joining the company.

Manager Qualifications

• Current cosmetology license in good standing 

• Dedication to great customer service

• Commitment to follow and role model the Great Clips 5 Steps to Customer Care

• Ability to cut hair for an extended period and provide quality haircuts in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to listen and understand what the customer wants

• Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues

• Effective employee management skills - recruiting, training, development, motivation and retention

• Ability to lead a team committed to company goals and values

• Ability to read and speak English

Manager Physical Requirements

• Reaching: extending hand(s) and arm(s) primarily at or above the shoulder

• Standing: particularly for sustained periods of time

• Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers

Compensation

- Hourly base wage $24-27 per hour

- Quarterly Bonus

- Tips at our company average $15 per hour, expect to earn at least $40 per hour
