About The Opportunity
Position Summary:The Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.
Essential Functions:Â
Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements
Fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed
Assist with mounting plates
Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end
Assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product
Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance
Palletize stacks of finished product on ski
Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary
Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed

Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Read a tape measure/ruler
Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
Good mathematical skills

This is a 2nd shift position - Core Hours are 2:15pm-10:45pm, 5 days/week.
This position may be required to work overtime.
The wage range for this position is $21.31-$23.97 per hour. Wage is based on experience.
