Why This Role Matters
The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for salon guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized and professional experience. By coordinating appointments, supporting salon professionals and providing exceptional guest service, this position helps ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience that reflects the hospitality standards of Heritage Hotels & Resorts.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality.
- Schedule, confirm and manage salon appointments for hair and nail services.
- Answer guest questions regarding salon services, pricing, availability and promotions.
- Process guest check-ins, check-outs, payments and retail purchases.
- Support hairstylists and nail technicians by coordinating schedules and guest flow throughout the day.
- Maintain accurate guest records and appointment information.
- Promote salon services, retail products and special offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organized and inviting reception area.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Support salon promotions, special events and daily administrative operations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, retail, front desk or customer service environment preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience with appointment scheduling systems, point-of-sale systems or reservation software preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Google Workspace applications.
- Ability to handle cash and retail transactions accurately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business demands require.
