Job Purpose and Impact

The Advisor, Business Strategy develops and advances business and market specific strategies that support profitable growth and long-term value creation. As a recognized subject matter authority, this role partners with senior leadership to shape strategic priorities, identify growth opportunities and drive execution of critical business initiatives. The position serves as a strategic integrator across functions, connecting business needs with regional and global capabilities to strengthen commercial effectiveness, accelerate growth and support business transformation. 

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Analysis & Planning 

Lead strategic analyses to assess market dynamics, competitive positioning, growth opportunities and business performance. 

Facilitate strategic planning processes and develop recommendations that support business and growth priorities. 

Translate market insights and business intelligence into actionable strategies aligned with regional and corporate objectives. 

Strategy Execution & Governance 

Drive execution of strategic priorities through clear implementation plans, defined milestones and performance measures. 

Establish governance and monitoring mechanisms to track progress, identify risks and drive accountability across stakeholders. 

Support leadership teams in evaluating progress and adjusting priorities to achieve desired business outcomes. 

Commercial Ecellence & Growth Enablement 

Partner with regional and global teams to deploy commercial excellence initiatives, capabilities, tools and best practices. 

Support the adoption of growth frameworks, processes and performance metrics that enable disciplined execution of business growth objectives. 

Facilitate cross-functional alignment to accelerate value creation and improve organizational effectiveness. 

Strategic Growth & Business Development 

Develop business cases and strategic recommendations to evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities. 

Support acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, divestitures and other strategic development initiatives through opportunity assessment and cross-functional coordination. 

Contribute to the identification and advancement of high-priority initiatives that drive long-term business growth and value creation. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Communication 

Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align priorities and mobilize resources in support of strategic objectives. 

Prepare and deliver clear, concise analyses, recommendations and executive communications that support informed decision-making. 

Qualifications

Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience. 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field. 

Experience in Strategy, Business Development, Commercial Excellence, Growth, Management Consulting or related disciplines. 

Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders. 

Strong strategic, financial and commercial acumen with the ability to translate insights into executable business actions. 

Experience supporting growth, transformation, business development or M&A-related initiatives is preferred.
