Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1363.05 - $1493.55

Rad Tech needed asap for 13 weeksPerforms radiographic procedures as requested by physicians and Radiologist. Has a good understanding of advance anatomy. Provides excellent care for patients and an understanding that they may be in pain; follows AIDET guidelinesEDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic\Technology Program required.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association required within a month of hire date.SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year experience required which can be substituted with clinical education experience.ENVIRONMENT: Bloodborne pathogen CExposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged, extensive or considerate standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
