Job Summary and Responsibilities
In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Registered Occupational Therapist II supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care under the direction of Registered Occupational Therapist Supervisor. Actively provides Occupational Therapy services to patients/residents, including evaluation and assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Provides direct supervision of COTAs, students, volunteers and aides. Assists in the development and implementation of new programs and groups.

As our Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician's orders. Your role involves evaluating home safety, assessing functional needs, and implementing tailored treatment to promote independence.

Every day you will evaluate home safety, assess functional needs of physically disabled patients, then develop, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment procedures.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills for in-home care. Excellent communication for patient education and a commitment to promoting independence and safety are essential.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (AOTCB) or satisfaction of any current state legal requirements.
- Competency as a general practitioner of Occupational Therapy as defined by AOTA
- Registered Occupational Therapist, OT
- CPR - BLS Certification within 30 days
