info
  • The role of Accounting Manager is located in Santa Monica, CA, requiring a hybrid work model of approximately 50% in-office attendance.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 or high-growth tech startups.
  • The position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $120,000, in addition to bonuses and equity.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, enhancing internal controls, and driving automation initiatives to support rapid growth.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong GAAP knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Accounting Manager who operates like a systems builder and finance leader—someone who thrives in the details but consistently steps back to design processes, strengthen controls, and scale infrastructure.

This is not a “manage the close and maintain status quo” role. You’ll lead core accounting and reporting, drive operational excellence, and help architect a finance function built for growth. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and actionable.

You will be expected to elevate how accounting operates—not just execute within it. If you see broken processes and instinctively move to redesign them, this role is for you.
