At Urth Caffé, our Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering the warm, welcoming experience we are known for. This position requires a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet every guest with a friendly and positive attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Accurately process orders, payments, and transactions using the POS system
Maintain a strong knowledge of Urth Caffé’s menu, including coffee, tea, and food offerings
Answer guest questions and provide recommendations when needed
Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicated clearly to the kitchen and barista team
Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly and accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and front-of-house area
Assist with packaging orders for dine-in and takeout
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
