Director, Partnerships - Motorsports

The Opportunity

Tixr is seeking a high-caliber business development leader to spearhead our expansion into the global motorsports ecosystem. This is a hunter-focused, high-impact role for a commercially sharp operator who can identify, structure, and land major partnerships with sanctioning bodies, teams, promoters, and circuits. You will work closely with Tixr leadership to build the pipeline, lead high-stakes negotiations, and ensure successful deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Aggressive Growth: Own the go-to-market strategy for motorsports, building and converting a robust pipeline of high-value prospects (F1, NASCAR, IndyCar, major circuits, and event operators).
• Deal Architecture: Lead the entire sales cycle—from discovery and demos to complex contract negotiation and closing.
• Commercial Structuring: Expertly design deal economics, including revenue share, upfront guarantees, and hybrid models that drive profitable growth.
• Strategic Positioning: Clearly communicate Tixr’s value proposition to executive stakeholders, effectively overcoming objections and navigating competitive landscapes.
• Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Finance) to ensure operational readiness and post-deal success.
• Network Utilization: Leverage existing industry relationships to accelerate market entry and build the Tixr brand globally.

Qualifications

• Proven Closer: 6+ years in high-stakes sales, BD, or partnerships within sports/live events. You have a documented track record of closing large-scale commercial deals.
• Industry Credibility: Deep existing network across F1, NASCAR, endurance racing, or major event rights holders.
• Strategic Negotiator: Highly skilled in structuring complex commercial terms and influencing decision-makers at the C-suite level.
• Action-Oriented: A "hunter" by nature who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and prioritizes revenue-generating activity above all else.
• Data-Driven: Analytical, with a sharp focus on KPIs, deal health, and pipeline hygiene.
