About the Role
We’re looking for a Member of Technical Staff to build the data foundation that powers critical areas of favorited, including Trust & Safety, Fraud, and user, creator, and application analytics.
This is a high-impact, 0-to-1 role for someone who has experience standing up data environments for live-service, consumer-focused products. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to build the systems, infrastructure, and analytical capabilities needed to understand our users, creators, and platform—and make better decisions as we scale.
Responsibilities
Build and scale data infrastructure and environments from 0 → 1 to support a rapidly growing consumer product.
Develop data systems that support Trust & Safety, fraud detection, and user and creator analytics.
Create reliable data pipelines and foundational datasets that enable product, engineering, and operational decision-making.
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Support analytics across user behavior, creator engagement, application performance, and platform health.
Develop data capabilities that help identify suspicious behavior, abuse, fraud, and other Trust & Safety risks.
Establish strong standards for data quality, reliability, documentation, and accessibility.
Build systems that can evolve with a rapidly changing live-service consumer product and its growing data volume.
Identify opportunities to improve how teams access, understand, and act on data.
Work autonomously to identify high-impact problems, prioritize solutions, and drive projects from concept through implementation.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience working in data engineering, data infrastructure, analytics engineering, or a related technical role.
Proven experience building 0 → 1 data environments for consumer-facing products or internal teams.
Experience supporting live-service products with rapidly changing requirements and continuously evolving data.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, data infrastructure, and analytics systems.
Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams.
Strong ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact work in an ambiguous environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional partners.
A product-oriented mindset and curiosity about how users and creators interact with a platform.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Trust & Safety, fraud, risk, or abuse detection.
Experience working with gaming, social, livestreaming, or other highly interactive consumer products.
Experience building data systems that support millions of users.
Familiarity with real-time or event-driven data architectures.
Experience developing analytics capabilities for both internal teams and customer-facing products.

Compensation: $145k - $185k base salary + equity
