We are seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist who will report into the Regional Business Director. The Oncology Sales Specialist will be responsible for executing Celcuity’s commercial strategy within the assigned territory and achieving territory sales objectives.
The successful candidate will develop and execute territory business plans, establish and maintain strong relationships with oncology healthcare providers and key accounts, and work cross-functionally with internal partners to support patient access and the successful commercialization of Celcuity’s products.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales goals within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute territory and account business plans.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key oncology customers, healthcare providers, and accounts.
- Identify and help resolve patient access barriers in partnership with Market Access, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate clinical and product information to customers in a compliant and appropriate manner.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and the local Medical Science Liaison to support education within the oncology community.
- Develop a strong understanding of the territory, customers, accounts, referral patterns, and competitive marketplace.
- Represent Celcuity at appropriate regional and local medical meetings and conferences.
- Effectively manage territory resources and expenses within established budgets.
- Utilize CRM, targeting, reporting, and other commercial tools to effectively manage the territory.
- Complete all required product, disease-state, compliance, and selling-skills training.
- Work collaboratively across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
- Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; science or business degree preferred.
- Five plus (5+) years of sales or similar customer-facing experience, such as key account management, market access, or thought leader engagement.
- Three plus (3+) years of demonstrated successful oncology biotechnology or pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record as a top sales performer.
- Experience selling scientifically innovative products that require engagement and buy-in from multiple stakeholders.
- Experience selling within a competitive market.
- Strong technical understanding and experience with Buy and Bill and the oncology medical benefit.
- Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
Preferred:
- Current or recent breast cancer experience, preferably within the last 10 years.
- Established relationships and access to breast cancer treaters and experts within the assigned territory.
- Experience launching branded oncology products.
- Solid tumor oncology experience.
- Experience working in both small or emerging biopharmaceutical companies and larger, fully integrated biopharmaceutical organizations.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and attend regional or national meetings as required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements.
- Ability to comply with all company policies, healthcare compliance requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.

A Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating gedatolisib in combination with darolutamide in patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer, is ongoing.

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $185,000 - $215,000. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geography, qualifications, skills, and experience.
The successful candidate will be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus and a new hire equity package. Celcuity also offers various benefits offerings, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, and paid holidays.
