PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT

Job DetailsJob Location: Santa Rosa - Santa Rosa, CA 95401Salary Range: $29.11 - $47.87 HourlyJob Purpose: We are seeking a detail-driven Payroll Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has deep expertise in payroll processing and accounting principles. Key responsibilities: accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform key accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliation, and other financial functions. Collaborate with departments to support smooth financial operations. QualificationsQualifications:  Associates degree (A.A.) in accounting, five years full cycle payroll experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and oral communication, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Acute attention to detail and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong interpersonal skills, Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
