Job Summary:


The Quality Supervisor will work closely with the Quality Manager to launch new processes and develop the Quality Management System; leads root cause corrective analysis utilizing a modified 8D form, PPAP functions according to AIAG, and will assist with ISO 9001:2015 auditing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handles internal and external quality issues and drives timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborates with Operations Managers to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and controls to increase efficiency; ensures processes comply with health and safety codes and regulations).
  • Implements, maintains, and audits company quality systems, products, and processes.
  • Manages PPAP process according to AIAG with updates to PFMEA, Process Flow, and Control Plan according to corrective actions and improved processes.
  • Problem solving analysis.
  • CPK analysis.
  • Document creation and revision including SOPs and Work Instructions.
  • Analyzes and reports data related to process output, capability studies, and gage R&R.
  • Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all workstations.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a quality role with similar responsibilities.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Relevant field
  • Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Any combination of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to work up to 8–10-hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
  • Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
  • Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
