Description
The Welder聽is responsible for TIG Welding / Fabrication of custom parts and/or components using ISI supplied drawings and/or blueprints while holding tolerances of +/-.010 and/or .5% angular.聽
聽
路 Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through manual fabrication such as port alignment, scribing, cutting/coping, tacking, tuning and welding while maintaining angular tolerance鈥檚 of +/- 陆 %, focal lengths and target points of +/- .010; closely collaborate with machinists throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project.
路 Must be familiar with metallurgy, primarily stainless steel.
路 Must know the proper weld settings for welding various materials along with filler rod selection if needed.
路 Must be able to produce vacuum tight welds in hard-to-reach areas of parts.聽
路 Ability and understanding of how to identify the proper order of operations (identifying the main datum point / sequence of hole penetration)聽
路 Ability to weld while operating a positioner table
路 Ability to control heat zones and pulsing
路 Ability to braze different materials together while maintaining a proper vacuum tight seal.
路 Performs other duties as assigned.聽

Minimum Qualifications
聽
路 Associates Degree or certification from a welding training program.
路 At least one year of applicable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
