Community Employment Specialist

THE POSITION: 

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for working with people? Do you excel building a team culture through coaching and empowerment? 

As a Community Resource Facilitator, you will: 

•    Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers. 

•    Greets walk in customers and answers phone calls providing support for community residents looking for resources

•    Provides information and referral services to customers based on presenting needs such as access to food, employment, housing services, veteran services, financial needs, medical services, academic services, counseling services, technology services, etc. 

•    Maintains records in an accurate, up-to-date, confidential manner in accordance with Goodwill and CARF standards.

•    Leads mission services as assigned.

THE QUALIFICATIONS: 

•    Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent years of experience for each year of college.

•    One year experience in related field

•    Excellent verbal, written and technology skills

•    Ability to work independently, analyze and problem solve immediately 

•    Effective team member and business partner in all aspects of Mission Services

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

•    Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends

•    Incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout GIM territory.
