Marine Field Superintendent

📍 Sarasota, FL | Marine Construction

Earth Tech Enterprises is seeking an experienced Marine Field Superintendent to lead field operations on waterfront construction projects including seawalls, docks, and shoreline protection systems. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating marine equipment, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

Lead Marine Construction Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on marine construction projects.

  • Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to maintain production goals.

  • Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.

Manage Production & Schedule

  • Track daily production and project progress.

  • Identify and resolve field challenges that impact schedule or productivity.

  • Communicate project status with project managers and operations leadership.

Ensure Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and safe work practices.

  • Lead daily safety meetings and monitor jobsite conditions.

  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Lead Field Teams

  • Supervise foremen, equipment operators, and field crews.

  • Coordinate manpower and equipment to support project needs.

  • Promote accountability, communication, and teamwork across the jobsite.

Coordinate Marine Equipment

  • Manage the use of barges, cranes, pile driving rigs, excavators, and support vessels.

  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance when needed.

Maintain Quality Standards

  • Ensure installation meets engineering specifications and project requirements.

  • Oversee pile placement, concrete work, and structural installation.

  • Address deficiencies promptly and maintain accurate field documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 5–10+ years of construction experience

  • Marine or heavy civil construction experience preferred

  • Experience with seawalls, docks, pile driving, or waterfront infrastructure

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management

  • Ability to manage production in a fast-paced field environment

  • Strong communication with crews, subcontractors, and management

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Certifications

  • OSHA 30

  • First Aid / CPR

Work Environment
