Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Summary

We’re seeking a Physical Therapist for a busy outpatient clinic in Sarasota, FL. In this role, you’ll evaluate patients, build practical treatment plans, and guide them through hands-on care and exercise-based rehab that improves movement, reduces pain, and gets them back to daily life. You’ll typically see 10–12 patients per day, documenting care in ATHENA (EMR) and collaborating with the clinic team to keep visits smooth, on time, and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients and perform movement and functional assessments to identify limitations and goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on pain reduction, mobility, strength, and return-to-activity goals
• Treat 10–12 patients per day
• Track progress, adjust plans as needed, and communicate clear next steps to patients
• Document evaluations, daily notes, and discharge summaries in ATHENA (EMR) accurately and on time
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management strategies to support results outside the clinic
• Coordinate care with front office staff and clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and strong patient experience

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
• Active (or eligible) Florida Physical Therapist license
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Outpatient ortho experience preferred (new grads with strong clinicals considered)
• Comfortable managing a steady outpatient schedule and staying organized with documentation
• Strong communication skills and a practical, patient-first approach to care
