Job Summary

Gulf Coast Panama Jack is a wholesale company that sells beach novelties such as: towels, chairs, umbrellas, apparel, sun care, and swim gear. Our Sarasota location primarily services Florida's west coast. We are currently looking for an organized and energetic individual to fulfill a warehouse associate position.

Primary job duties are assisting with the following:

Pulling merchandise to fulfill orders and transfers between warehouses

Relabeling and/or repackaging merchandise

Unloading trucks and containers of merchandise

Stocking merchandise in designated areas

Some conditions are:

Lifting boxes up to 60 lbs

Walking on hard concrete

Exposure to extreme weather (heat)

Preferred skills and qualifications:

Previous warehouse experience

Ability to read and comprehend, write legibly, and do basic math without a calculator

Ability to work independently with limited guidance or supervision

Ability to work as a team

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with time constraints

Ability to think analytically and solve problems

Ability to work as scheduled with flexibility, when needed

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30pm M-F with overtime as needed

May work some Saturdays during busy months
