As a Caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Implement the resident’s individualized end-of-life care plan, providing compassionate support to residents and families in collaboration with Hospice staff and volunteers.
  • Serve as a supportive point of contact for families and friends, offering information,=reassurance, and updates consistent with hospice philosophy.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols at all times.
  • Offer food and fluids as desired and tolerated, providing gentle feeding assistance for comfort only and in alignment with the resident’s end-of-life care plan.
  • Provide personal care and hygiene support, including bathing, oral care, grooming, nail care, and hair care while preserving dignity.
  • Monitor, replenish, and organize medical and household supplies to ensure readiness and smooth daily operations.

Caregiver Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour

Caregiver Schedule: 11pm - 7 am Thursday-Monday (40 hours/week)


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years of experience providing hospice-like care
  • RN, Social Work degree, or commensurate experience
