Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Seasonal Machine Operator to support our production team during peak manufacturing periods. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

This is a temporary/seasonal position beginning on or around April 1 and lasting no longer than 6 months with employment based on production needs.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain machinery in accordance with company procedures.
Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
Monitor equipment during operation and identify malfunctions or product defects.
Troubleshoot issues and adjust machinery to maintain quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Follow all safety protocols to support a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate logs of machine operation and maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
Excellent attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
Strong commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

Vocational or technical training related to machine operation.
Experience with machinery used in plastic pipe manufacturing (or similar).
Safety certifications or relevant training.
