Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and assist with directing visitors, responding to requests, and providing information as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
