Overview:
As a Project Engineer I, you will play a key role in supporting the Production Team by coordinating all stakeholders involved in the construction process. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will assist Site Managers and/or Site Superintendents with the day-to-day management of residential construction projects, ensuring efficiency, communication, and foresight in all tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to multitask, and thrives in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination:Â
- Support the Site Managers/Superintendents in coordinating all phases of construction, ensuring seamless communication and execution.Â
- Assist in setting up job sites, ensuring proper signage, safety equipment, and overall readiness for the construction process.Â
- Oversee project storage and manage the security camera system, including coordinating with the Marketing on timelapse cameras.
2. Documentation and Administration:
- Create and maintain field binders for the Site Managers/Superintendents.Â
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes for project-related meetings.Â
- Manage the processing of change orders, purchase orders, and other project-related administrative tasks as directed by the Site Managers/Superintendents.Â
- Assist in the coordination of client-supplied items, ensuring timely procurement through Fohlio.Â
- Set up new subcontractors in BuilderTrend and handle subcontractor onboarding.
3. Scheduling and Communication:Â
- Coordinate key project phases with the Marketing Team, including Matterport scans at specific stages (before demo, radiant flooring, before insulation, before client handoff).Â
- Work with the Marketing Team to send neighborhood notification letters before starting new projects.Â
- Assist Site Managers/Superintendents with project punch lists and warranty walks to ensure client satisfaction and project completion.
4. Field Support:
- Ensure the job site is set up with all necessary tools, signage, and safety equipment.Â
- Coordinate on-site activities and provide support to Site Managers/Superintendents as needed.Â
- Manage on-site logistics and assist in maintaining project timelines and schedules.
5. Change Management:Â
- Assist Site Managers/Superintendents in processing and managing change orders.Â
- Ensure change orders are documented, tracked, and integrated into project plans and timelines as needed.

Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Engineering preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction.Â
- Skills:Â
 - Ability to work independently and within a team.Â
 - Proficiency in construction management platforms such as BuilderTrend and Fohlio is a plus.Â
 - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
 - Familiarity with PlanGrid and Bluebeam a plus.
 - Excellent written and verbal communication.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to work on-site under various conditions, including exposure to weather, deconstruction, excavation, and structural phases.Â
- Ability to safely navigate construction sites, including ascending/descending stairs and ladders.Â
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely.
