Tower’s Crimp and Prepare Technician specializes in high-volume, fast termination processes for basic audio and video cable termination. The Crimp & Prep Tech is an essential part of a DEDICATED & TALENTED TEAM with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for the processing of coaxial and other types of cables!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical inspections and basic continuity testing before submitting completed work for final testing and approval.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
- Utilize company systems to access work instructions, production information, and related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure quality and productivity goals are met.
Requirements
- Prior experience with soldering, cable assembly, hand-tool assembly, or related work.
- Basic knowledge of cable assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions.
- Ability to accurately assemble, inspect, and test products according to quality requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds using safe lifting practices.
- Ability to comply with all company safety, PPE, quality, and operational requirements.
- Must read, understand, and follow the Employee Handbook and Quality Policy Statement.
- Must adhere to company hygiene and workplace cleanliness standards, including required handwashing procedures at the end of each shift.
