CURA of Sauk Centre is looking for a dependable and motivated Dietary Aide to support our kitchen team in preparing food and assisting with meal production. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are looking for flexible evening hours, first-time job applicants, or those who are interested in starting in food service. As a Dietary Aide, you will help ensure the kitchen operates smoothly by performing essential tasks such as organizing food items, serving food, reading diets, and clean up. Starting pay at $19/hour!

This position is part-time and includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients following established recipes and standards.
  • Wash, peel, chop, and portion fruits, vegetables, and other food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
  • Stock and organize food supplies under the guidance of the Cook or Dietary Manager.
  • Support kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and consistent quality.
  • Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen tasks.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential evenings or weekends.
